Two artists wed at the Mill at Fine Creek

I met these two a couple months prior to their wedding day for a spring engagement session that both reminded me of how full of color + character Richmond is and taught me just how cool these two are. Katie + Weston are Richmond-based artists who work across a variety of mediums and each do incredible work - you should definitely check. ‘em. out. There’s always something particularly humbling about having other artists trust me to make art for them. Their celebration was (naturally) filled with a whole lotta visually unique details and Katie’s BHLDN dress was so minimal, yet so beautiful. The world was also kind enough to grace them with pretty magical light and very un-June-like temps - I really don’t think the day could’ve been any more perfect. The Mill at Fine Creek also happens to be where I photographed my first wedding, ever, five years ago, and I gotta admit it was pretty special having the chance to make art here again all these years later.
