A Washington War Memorial wedding

Leah + Raed had originally planned an outdoor wedding ceremony with friends on their Dupont Circle rooftop, but with rain in the forecast, they managed to put together an rad indoor celebration in Chinatown - complete with a first look at the DC War Memorial - all within a week. Pretty impressive, right?

Did I mention that we did their first look at the DC War Memorial? Leah + Raed both teared up just talking to each other, hands interlocked, about their memories together as they stood beneath the dome of the War Memorial. It was a really lovely moment, and one of the most beautiful first looks I've ever witnessed.

We then wandered over to the Jefferson monument before heading to Prequel in Chinatown for their intimate wedding ceremony + reception. These two world-travelers (they live in Germany nowadays) are incredible and I had so much fun with them. It's pretty hard to believe all of this happened over the span of just four hours. So much love in such a short time.
